Hi, I’m Carolyn Blasko.

I know what it is like to be you right now, a dedicated parent searching for help, that would bring about real change. In 2002, I resigned from a successful 9-year teaching position with a master’s degree as a reading specialist, to be home with my young children. In 2010, I needed to secure intensive specialized services for one of my children. This ultimately necessitated a due process hearing in which I prevailed, having hired a special education advocate and attorney. I learned the value of the role of an advocate.

Since that time, I have helped parents in 44 different school districts accomplish objectives for their child, objectives that some had said could not be obtained. I’ve developed an understanding of special education law, the process and a variety of educational disabilities. I seek success and I seek to have an impact of significance for you and your child.

Carolyn Blasko, M. Ed.

I know what it is like to be in a challenging situation, yet to conduct one’s self with commendable professionalism.  I am proud of the positive professional relationships that I preserve through difficult situations.  I learned about myself that deep in my core, I am made of the stuff that it takes — to be rattled and come out standing, and standing strong.

I discovered that I have a specialized niche.  There are silent others who share similar stories, untold stories, with unwritten chapters ahead, that right now appear—without help—without hope.

I am uniquely wired, equipped to contribute something of value to people who need me.  Both my teaching and parenting experiences now come together to qualify me with a specific area of knowledge and skill set that benefits students and parents.

My experiences arm me with a quiet and strong resolve.   I bring a reflective and analytical style, living with integrity and operating from a calculated stance of calm strength and confidence.  I will listen to you, really listen.  We will pave a way to realistic solutions for you and your child. This is meaningful work.  You and your child are worth all that I do!
